Most of the course videos on eLearning are hosted on Google and then embedded on eLearning. However, at times for a variety of reasons, the embed cookies get corrupted or cookies from Google are being blocked resulting in the following error: "There was a problem or error playing this video". In this case, the user needs to follow the steps below clearing the cookies on the browser.

To clear the cookies in your browser, do all the following steps below:

  1. Clear the cookies following these steps: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?hl=en
  2. Reboot the computer (this is important. The process will not work unless you reboot).
  3. Try accessing the video again.

If you do not prefer to clear the cookies, try this procedure to manually allow the Google cookies if you are using Chrome.

A quicker way to get to the clear cookies is to use the following key combinations: on a Mac: Shift+Command+Delete;  on Windows: On Windows, it is: Ctrl+Shift+Delete (i.e. hold down the control key and the shift key and then press delete once).

If the embedded videos are not playing in your mobile browser such as your iPad or iPhone, please refer to this guide for the solution.
